The Durango Downtown Inn

The location is fantastic, conveniently near downtown and the scenic river paths. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

Our double queen room was great for 2 adults traveling together. We both had queen sized beds.The beds and the pillows were excellent! The room was very clean, very comfortable and all services were A+. We were very close to downtown Durango and all of the shops and restaurants were within walking distance.

The only thing that we did not like about the Durango Downtown Inn was that we could not open our windows. We had a nice double/queen room on the second floor of the motel. We paid an extra $10 for a river view, but we could not open our windows to hear the river. That was disappointing. The only way to get any ventilation into the room was to use the fan/air conditioning unit. In the mountains, that seems to be a real waste of energy, considering that in the high mountains, most of the year, one can have great cool air in the mornings and evenings.

The hotel was an ideal place for enjoying a nice area, near to a restaurant that was open, the Animas River, and center of Durango Staff very friendly. The room for the ac unit. We were in a wonderful location not too far from Rotary Park. The restaurant was located within 800 feet.

The room was spacious with a cozy coffee corner, amazing location just a short walk to downtown and river trails. It exceeded my expectations cation.

The service cannot be beaten, it's top-notch with shuttle to the airport and good Wi-Fi.

We loved exploring the beautiful Animas River, taking a peaceful 3-mile walk. The spacious double room was perfect for our large family and provided ample space for everyone to unwind after a day of activities in Durango.

My kids wished for more breakfast options to start the day right.

Animas river behind hotel is very pretty.applebees on the same property which is very handy. Overall I was satisfied, good location for day trips. Durango scenery is amazing.

The parking was disorganized, if you pay for a room you should have an assigned parking place close to the room.after returning from day trips had to circle around trying to find a place to park. It would have been nice to have breakfast, just donuts and coffee would be appreciated.

Location, room was on the ground floor. The river ran behind the hotel. Had a fantastic view of the fireworks on July 4th. Easy to get to and you can walk from the hotel to the downtown area for restaurants and shopping.

No refrigerator, no breakfast.

Strongly recommend for a short break

Comfortable room, convenient location, where the air conditioning kept us refreshed and the free wi-fi made it easy to plan our daily adventures.

Everything was really good.

The maintenance person was supper friendly and helped me park our 43' travel trailer in back and even marked it with orange cones.

We enjoyed the spacious room with comfortable beds, and the riverwalk right behind the motel was perfect for morning strolls. The friendly front desk manager made us feel very welcome during our stay.

The location is fabulous...on the river and downtown is in walking distance. Comfortable furnishings and very clean rooms.
